Police pursuit leads to crash on San Antonio’s south side

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A routine traffic stop in San Antonio ended in a serious collision with one suspect in custody Monday morning.

According to KSAT, a Bexar County Sheriff’s deputy attempted to stop a driver who immediately attempted to flee. The chase lasted a few miles before the driver lost control of their vehicle along Southwest Loop 410 near the exit to South Zarzamora Street around 9:15 a.m.

The suspect involved in the crash was uninjured. However, they were taken into custody. Details regarding their identity are being withheld pending further investigation.
