Head-on collision reported along Roosevelt St.

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Police in Brownsville responded to a two-vehicle collision near Faulk Middle School last Saturday night.

The two-vehicle collision took place within the 1900 block of Roosevelt Street at the intersection with Hortencia Boulevard shortly before 8 p.m.

Police say the 42-year-old male driver of a 2009 Kia ran through a stop sign and collided head-on with a 2019 Dodge in the intersection.

Fortunately, neither driver nor the two juvenile passengers in the Kia were injured in the crash.
