Officers on the scene of rear-end collision along Boca Chica Blvd.

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Police in Brownsville were called to the scene of a rear-end collision along Boca Chica Boulevard last Monday morning.

The two-vehicle crash took place at about 11:14 a.m. within the 100 block of Boca Chica Boulevard just west of the intersection with Central Boulevard.

Officers believe the 18-year-old woman behind the wheel of a 2015 Nissan was traveling at a high rate of speed when she collided with the rear of a 2020 Ford.

The woman responsible for the crash and the 39-year-old man in the Ford were both uninjured in the crash.
