Ram sideswipes Chevrolet in northeast Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Officers with the Brownsville Police Department were called to the scene of a two-vehicle collision along SH-48 last Tuesday evening.

The northeast Brownsville car accident occurred shortly before 6:30 p.m. along SH-48 near the intersection with East Price Road.

Police say the driver of a 2006 Ram, a 55-year-old man, attempted to change lanes when it was unsafe to do so and sideswiped a 2009 Chevrolet.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a direct result of the crash.
