Multiple injuries reported following rear-end crash on N. Sugar Rd.

MCALLEN, TX – Officers with the Pharr Police Department reported multiple injuries following a rear-end collision in northeast McAllen last Friday evening.

The accident, which took place on February 26th, occurred at about 4:30 p.m. within the 2100 block of North Sugar Road at the intersection with Del Oro Lane.

Investigators say the 53-year-old woman behind the wheel of a 2010 Pontiac was traveling at a high rate of speed when her vehicle collided with the rear of a 2020 Ford.

The woman responsible for the crash and the 40-year-old woman in the Ford sustained unknown injuries as a result of the crash. Luckily, the three other occupants in the Pontiac, including two children, were unhurt.
