Driver flees after multi-vehicle injury crash in downtown Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE, TX – One driver fled the scene following a two-vehicle crash that left a woman injured late last week.

The collision took place on May 20th within the 1100 block of East 12th Street, near the intersection with East Van Buren Street.

Police say the 23-year-old woman behind the wheel of a 2019 Nissan failed to yield the right of way and collided with an unspecified gold vehicle.

The woman responsible for the crash sustained unknown injuries as a result. The driver in the gold vehicle immediately fled the scene of the crash.
