8 injured in 3-car crash in East San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Eight people received minor injuries following a three-vehicle crash on the city’s East Side on Friday night, News4SA reports.

The crash happened at the intersection of E Commerce Street and E Houston Street, near I-10, at about 11 p.m. on June 25. An out-of-town driver was unsure which traffic lights she should be paying attention to and inadvertently ran a red light. Her vehicle crashed into another car head-on, and was then hit by a third vehicle whose driver could not stop in time.

Eight people were injured, although none severely. Police do not suspect intoxication played a role at this time.
