Pickup truck hits three construction workers on I-35

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Three construction workers are in the hospital after being hit by a pickup truck early Monday morning, KSAT reports. 

The accident occurred near the Alamo Street exit on southbound I-35 around 1 a.m. A silver Chevy Silverado entered the construction site and hit three workers.

The male driver of the truck got out and ran away on foot. Police are still looking for the driver.

The victims were two men, aged 23 and 21, and a 22-year-old woman. They were all hospitalized with serious injuries.
