Six-vehicle crash sends two people to hospital

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A six-vehicle accident on the northeast side of San Antonio sent two people to the hospital on Thursday night, KSAT reports.

The crash occurred on Thursday evening at the intersection of Wurzbach Parkway and North Weidner Road.

Police believe the crash was caused by a woman who was speeding on Wurzbach Parkway who lost control of her vehicle as she approached a red light.

She then hit five other cars that were already stopped at the light.

The driver who caused the accident and one other woman were hospitalized with minor injuries.

Authorities are investigating to determine if alcohol was a factor. They do believe that unsafe speed was a cause of the crash.
