SAN ANTONIO, TX – A hit-and-run collision in the Prospect Hill community of San Antonio seriously injured a 15-year old boy Saturday night, San Antonio Express-News reports.
Police say the driver of a Chevrolet Tahoe was eastbound on Buena Vista when they ran a red light and struck a Ford F-150 that was heading north on S Hamilton Ave around 1:30 a.m.
The impact ejected the 15-year-old male passenger of the F-150. First responders transported him to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Following the accident, the driver of the Tahoe abandoned their vehicle and fled the scene on foot.
