SAN MARCOS, TX – Police are investigating a fatal train crash on CM Allen Pkwy near Children’s Park that claimed the life of a 16-year-old girl Monday, KXAN reports.
Witnesses say the victim was looking at her phone when the train struck her. First responders were called to the scene around 5 p.m. They pronounced her dead at the scene.
Police closed off the area to investigate the crash. The area was cleared by 8:51 p.m.
