Wrong-way driver fatally collides with another vehicle on I-37

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A wrong-way collision on the 11400 block of I-37 claimed the lives of two drivers Sunday, according to KSAT.

The driver of the Ford Focus was heading north in the southbound lanes of I-37 when struck the driver of a Toyota Corolla head-on at 2:30 a.m.

The collision sent the Corolla into the path of a semi-truck and was hit a second time before coming to rest in the grassy median.

First responders pronounced both drivers dead at the scene of the accident.

Authorities have not released the names of either driver.
