2 vehicles collide while attempting to evade Corpus Christi police

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Multiple vehicles were involved in a collision as the result of a police chase in Corpus Christi late last week.

The incident took place on April 7th at about 1:50 p.m. within the 3900 block of Weber Road.

Investigators say the unidentified drivers of a 2015 Nissan and a 2009 Honda were fleeing police at a high rate of speed when they collided.

The circumstances leading up to the pursuit are unclear at this time. However, no injuries have been reported as a result of the chase or crash.
