The May 18th collision took place at about 6 p.m. within the 1200 block of South Staples Street, near the intersection with Morgan Avenue.

Responding officers say the 43-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2006 Dodge failed to yield the right of way at the intersection and was struck by a 2019 Dodge.

The man in the at-fault vehicle was unhurt. However, a 26-year-old male passenger in the 2019 Dodge sustained unknown injuries.
