40-year-old woman injured in Brownsville pedestrian accident

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Officers with the Brownsville Police Department reported at one injury resulting from an auto vs. pedestrian accident last Wednesday evening.

The incident took place shortly after 7 p.m. within the 6000 block of Travis Rd. just west of North Dakota Avenue.

Police say the 65-year-old male driver of a 2015 Chevrolet struck a 40-year-old woman who was walking in the roadway.

The official cause of the crash is unknown at this time. However, the woman sustained unknown injuries as a result.
