BROWNSVILLE, TX – A man was injured as the result of a high-speed single-vehicle collision just east of downtown Brownsville late last week.
The accident occurred at about 1:33 a.m. on February 19, within the 190 block of East Levee Street near the intersection with East 2nd Street.
Responding officers say the 42-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2021 Kia was speeding when he traveled out of his lane, rolling his vehicle at least once.
The driver, whose identity is being withheld at this time, sustained serious injuries in Friday’s Brownsville rollover crash.
