5 children, 1 woman from involved in San Antonio rollover crash

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A woman and five children escaped serious injury following a rollover crash in northwest San Antonio late Friday night.

According to KSAT, the accident occurred at about 11:20 p.m. within the 3600 block of Poplar Street near the intersection with Northwest 28th Street.

Investigators say the woman and her children were traveling east on the roadway when one of the kids grabbed the steering wheel and veered the vehicle into a nearby parked car. The car then rolled over as the other vehicle was pinned up against an electrical pole.

Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported as a direct result of the crash. No charges are expected to be filed against the driver at this time.
