5 injured following suspected DWI crash in Palmview

PALMVIEW, TX – Five people were reportedly injured as the result of a suspected DWI collision on I-2 in early March.

The two-vehicle crash, which took place on March 11th, occurred at about 1:09 p.m. near the exit to La Homa Road.

Officers with the Mission Police Department believe the 31-year-old man in a 1996 GMC was under the influence when he drove through a stop sign and was T-boned by a 2016 Chevrolet.

All occupants in the Chevrolet, ranging in age from 19 to 49, sustained unknown injuries in the crash.

It is unclear if the man responsible for Thursday’s Palmview DWI crash will face any charges at this time.
