5 injured, including children following collision on Academy St.

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Investigators with the San Antonio Police Department reported several injuries, including two children following a multi-vehicle collision on Academy St. late Tuesday.

The collision was reported at the intersection of Cupples Road and W. Academy St. at about 4:15 a.m.

Police say the incident occurred when the 30-year-old female driver of a 2007 Chevrolet failed to pay attention to traffic in front of her and collided head-on with a 1998 Toyota.

The driver responsible as well as the 30-year-old male driver of the Toyota and three children were all reported injured as a result of the crash. Details regarding the identities of those involved have not yet been released.
