5-year-old killed in Corpus Christi crash

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – A young child was killed as the result of a major head-on collision in Corpus Christi Tuesday afternoon, KRIS reports.

The accident occurred as the 36-year-old driver of an SUV crossed over the center line on Old Brownsville Road and collided with another vehicle.

The occupants in the second vehicle, a 38-year-old woman and her 5-year-old child, were both rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Unfortunately, the child succumbed to their injuries a short time later.
