61-year-old woman injured in Corpus Christi chain-reaction crash

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – A woman suffered injuries resulting from a three-vehicle chain-reaction crash in south Corpus Christi last week.

The May 26th crash took place at about 2:30 p.m. within the 4100 block of South Staples Street, near the intersection with Everhart Road.

Police believe the 32-year-old man behind the wheel of a 1997 Dodge was speeding when his vehicle collided with the rear of a 2008 GMC, pushing it into a 2019 Toyota.

The man responsible for last Wednesday’s Corpus Christi car accident was unhurt as a result. The driver of the 2008 GMC, a 61-year-old woman, sustained unknown injuries.

No one in the Toyota was hurt as a result of the crash.
