69-year-old woman injured in North McAllen car accident

MCALLEN, TX – Officers with the McAllen Police Department responded to a two-vehicle collision in which one woman was injured last Wednesday afternoon.

The accident was reported at about 2:10 p.m. and occurred within the intersection of North 1st Street and Jonquil Avenue.

Police believe that a 31-year-old woman failed to yield the right of way to a 2018 Chevrolet, which struck the front driver’s side of her 2010 Ford.

The 69-year-old female driver of the Chevrolet is believed to have been injured as a result of the crash. No other injuries were reported.
