8 injured, including 5 juveniles after multi-vehicle crash on E. 14th St.

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Police in Brownsville reported eight injuries, including several children, following a two-vehicle crash at a busy north Brownsville intersection early last week.

The collision, which took place on February 28th, occurred within the intersection of North Central Avenue and East 14th Street.

Police say the driver of a 2006 Jeep, an 18-year-old man, failed to yield the right of way when turning left and was T-boned by a 2005 Cadillac.

Eight people involved in the crash sustained injuries ranging in severity from minor to serious. Of those who were hurt, five were under the age of 18, including a 5-year-old and a 7-year-old.

It is unclear if the driver responsible will face any charges at this time.
