ALTON, TX – A 41-year-old driver crashed his vehicle near a busy Alton intersection in a suspected DWI crash last week.
The accident took place on April 9th at about 3:45 p.m. within the 500 block of West Main Avenue near the intersection with Georgia Street.
Officers with the Alton Police Department say the man was under the influence of a drug when he crashed his 2019 Ford. Luckily, he was unhurt as a result of the collision.
No other vehicles were involved in last Friday’s Alton DWI car accident.
