SAN ANTONIO, TX – A man was injured following after his apartment on the 1700 block of W. Mayfield Ave went up in flames Wednesday, KSAT reports.
The victim told firefighters the explosion happened when he lit a cigarette while cooking around 11 p.m. The blast burned the victim and blew a gaping hole into the back wall of the complex.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the blast.
