At least 1 hurt after 4-vehicle crash on Highway 281

SAN ANTONIO, TX – One person was taken to the hospital following a collision involving several vehicles and a cow late Sunday.

According to KSAT, the accident was reported at about 11:40 p.m. within the 16200 block of Highway 281 near the exit to Guest Road.

Witnesses told police a truck struck a black cow on the highway. A red sedan then swerved to avoid the wreckage and rolled over. Two other vehicles were also involved in the pileup.

One individual was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of unknown injuries sustained in the crash. It is unclear if anyone else was hurt.
