BROWNSVILLE, TX – Officials with the Brownsville Police Department reported one injury resulting from an auto vs. bicycle collision just outside of downtown on Saturday, November 7th.
The incident occurred within the 500 block of Calle Milpa Verde near the intersection with Jasmine Street.
Police believe the incident was caused by a 23-year-old male bicyclist when he failed to yield to the right of way of a 2016 Dodge driven by a 26-year-old man. The bicyclist sustained potentially serious injuries as a result of the collision. Details regarding his condition or the identity of either man involved have not yet been released.
