PHARR, TX – Officers in Pharr were called to the scene of a high-speed rear-end collision near the Hidalgo County Hike and Bike Trail.
The two-vehicle crash occurred at about 6:40 p.m. within the 700 block of South Veterans Boulevard just south of Sam Houston Boulevard.
Investigators believe the unidentified female driver of a 2018 BMW was speeding when her vehicle collided with the rear of a 2007 Suzuki.
Neither the woman responsible for the crash nor the 34-year-old woman in the Suzuki was injured as a result.
