Brownsville police respond to multi-vehicle crash on Fronton St.

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Officers with the Brownsville Police Department responded to a rear-end collision near Harry E. McNair Park late last Thursday night.

The incident occurred shortly before midnight within the 300 block of East Fenton Street near the intersection with East 3rd Street.

Investigators believe the driver of a 2007 GMC, a 28-year-old man, was speeding when he collided with the rear of a 1999 Ford. The force of the crash sent the Ford head-on into an unspecified object.

No injuries were reported as a result of Sunday’s Brownsville collision. However, both vehicles sustained significant damage and were towed from the scene.
