Brownsville woman injured following multi-vehicle crash on Lincoln St.

BROWNSVILLE, TX – One woman was reportedly injured as the result of a two-vehicle crash near I-69E last Monday evening.

The incident occurred at about 6:09 p.m. within the 800 block of Lincoln Street just east of I-69E.

Officers with the Brownsville Police Department say the 25-year-old female driving a 2008 Ford was driving at a high rate of speed when she collided with the front passenger’s side of a 2020 Nissan.

A passenger in the Ford, a 46-year-old woman, was injured as a direct result of the crash. Details regarding the circumstances leading up to the crash or the condition of the woman who was injured have not yet been made available to the public.
