Chain-reaction crash in Mission leaves 1 injured

MISSION, TX – A chain-reaction crash took place near downtown Mission earlier this month.

The crash occurred on May 7th shortly after 11:30 a.m. along West Griffin Parkway, at the intersection with Inspiration Road.

Officers with the Mission Police Department said the 32-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2014 Chevrolet collided with the rear of a 2019 Toyota. The Toyota was then pushed into the rear of a 2018 Ford.

Neither the man responsible for the crash nor the 54-year-old woman in the Ford were hurt as a result. The single occupant in the Toyota, a 52-year-old woman sustained unknown injuries.
