LOS FRESNOS, TX – Police in Los Fresnos responded to a rear-end collision just outside of Los Fresnos Nature Park Monday afternoon.
The accident was reported shortly before 5 a.m. within the 33000 block of Whipple Road near the intersection with Arroyo Boulevard.
Investigators say the driver of a 2008 Chevrolet, a 57-year-old woman, backed up when it was unsafe to do so and collided with the front-end of a 2014 Nissan.
Luckily, neither the woman responsible for the collision nor the 56-year-old woman in the Nissan were injured as a result of the crash.
