CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Officers with the Corpus Christi Police Department responded to a hit-and-run collision not far from the coast on the evening of Saturday, February 13th.
The accident was reported at about 4:35 p.m. within the 400 block of Robert Drive near the intersection with Amherst Drive.
Responding officers believe the unknown driver of a black Chevrolet ran through a stop sign and collided head-on with a 2015 Chevrolet.
The unknown driver of the at-fault vehicle fled the scene before authorities arrived. Fortunately, the 51-year-old man in the 2015 Chevrolet was unhurt.
