PORTLAND, TX – Officials with the Portland Police Department responded to a multi-vehicle crash near the Oak Manor Villas apartment complex Saturday evening.
The collision occurred at the intersection of Akins Drive and Moore Avenue at about 5:00 p.m. Police believe the 76-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2019 Toyota failed to yield to a stop sign and struck the driver’s side rear of a 2020 GMC driven by a 70-year-old man.
Neither of the drivers sustained injuries as a result of the collision.
