SAN ANTONIO, TX – Commuters near downtown San Antonio faced significant delays resulting from a collision on Thursday afternoon.
According to Total Traffic San Antonio, the accident happened at about 3:30 p.m. within the westbound lanes of the interstate near the exit to Powell Street.

The cause of the crash and the number of vehicles involved are unclear at this time. However, police shut down at least two right lanes causing traffic to buildup going back to East Cesar Chavez Boulevard.
No injuries have been reported as a result of the crash.
