CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – A male pedestrian was killed while attempting to cross a busy freeway in Corpus Christi early Monday morning.
According to KRIS, the incident was reported at about 4:42 a.m. along South Padre Island Drive near the intersection with Weber Rd.
Investigators believe the unidentified pedestrian was standing on the freeway, which is not designated for pedestrian traffic, when he was struck by an oncoming vehicle.
