Corpus Christi police respond to rear-end collision on Airline Rd.

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Police in Corpus Christi were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash near a bay area shopping center last Monday afternoon.

The accident occurred at about 12:50 p.m. at the shopping center within the 1300 block of Airline Rd. just north of SH-358.

Police say the driver of a 2003 Mercedes-Benz, a 17-year-old male, was following a 2008 Honda too closely and collided with the rear of the Honda.

Neither the driver responsible for the crash nor the two occupants in the Honda, ages 30 and 16, were injured as a result.
