CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Police in Corpus Christi were called to the scene of a rear-end collision at a Padre Island shopping center late Sunday morning.
The east Corpus Christi collision was reported just after 11 a.m. along Headsail Road near the interaction with Park Road 22.
Investigators believe the 28-year-old male driver of a 2015 Chevrolet was traveling at a high rate of speed when he collided with the rear of a 2015 Dodge.
Fortunately, neither the occupants in the vehicle responsible for the crash nor the 17-year-old female in the Dodge was injured.
