Dodge runs stop sign, collides with Jeep in Edinburg

EDINBURG, TX – Police responded to a two-vehicle collision near downtown Edinburg last week.

The collision took place on March 23rd at about 4:37 p.m. within the 200 block of South 13th Avenue just south of East Cano Street.

Investigators believe the 65-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2019 Dodge drove through the stop sign and collided head-on with a 2012 Jeep.

Fortunately, neither driver involved nor the 9-year-old passenger in the Jeep were injured as a result of the crash.
