DPS troopers respond to injury collision on SH-286 in Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – A man sustained injuries resulting from a multi-vehicle crash in south Corpus Christi last week.

The accident took place on April 30th within the 1900 block of SH-286, just north of South Staples Street.

Troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety say the driver of a 2019 Chevrolet, a 34-year-old man failed to yield the right of way at the intersection and collided head-on with a 2016 Jeep.

The man in the Chevrolet was uninjured in the crash. However, the 26-year-old driver in the Jeep sustained minor injuries as a result.
