SAN ANTONIO, TX – Police in San Antonio are searching for the driver responsible for sideswiping a cruiser and fleeing the scene early Wednesday morning.
According to SAPD, the incident took place at about 3:15 p.m. along Wurzbach Road, near the intersection with Whisper Valley Street.
Police say the officer stopped to assist the driver of a stalled vehicle. A second vehicle, a red sedan, attempted to pass through the area and ended up sideswiping the officer’s vehicle.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the crash. However, the driver in the sedan has not yet been located.
