Driver causes 3-vehicle crash while feeing police in Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE, TX – A 35-year-old man caused a three-vehicle collision while attempting to flee Brownsville police last Thursday morning.

The accident took place shortly after 8:30 a.m. within the 1100 block of East Los Ebanos Boulevard near the intersection with Bernard Road.

Responding officers say the suspect was fleeing police in a 2021 Nissan when he collided with a 2016 Subaru which he was attempting to pass. He then struck a 2020 Chevrolet just seconds later.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of Thursday’s Brownsville car accident. It is unclear why the driver was attempting to flee officers.
