SAN ANTONIO, TX – A driver struck a pedestrian crossing the street on the 2000 block of Vance Jackson Rd Wednesday, KSAT reports.
The driver of a Chrysler was heading north on Vance Jackson Rd when he saw the 25-year-old male pedestrian. The driver attempted to swerve to miss the pedestrian but struck him outside a marked crosswalk around 7:20 p.m.
Following the collision, the driver pulled over to render aid. First responders were called to the scene and they transported the victim to University Hospital in stable condition.
