SAN BENITO, TX – Troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety reported a single-vehicle collision following a pursuit near La Paloma last Tuesday.
The incident took place at 7:30 a.m. within the 22600 block of Military Highway just south of the La Paloma Events Center.
Troopers say the driver of a 2011 Chevrolet, a 22-year-old man, was fleeing officers when he collided head-on with a fixed object in the roadway.
No injuries were reported as a result of the crash. It is still unclear what charges the suspect will face at this time.
