SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to KSAT, a sedan driver fatally struck a semi-truck on northbound N Weidner Rd near westbound I-35 Frontage Rd Friday.
The victim, an unidentified male, was heading west on I-35 Frontage Rd when he slammed into a semi-truck heading north on Weidner Rd that had a green light around 2:20 a.m.
Emergency crews transported the sedan driver to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.
The semi-truck driver was not hurt in the collision.
Officials have not released the identity of the victim.
The incident is under investigation by the police.
