TAFT, TX – A female toddler is dead following an accident Saturday, KVUE reports.
The toddler fell out of a Ford Focus as it was leaving the driveway of her home. The driver of the Focus then ran over the girl with the front right tire of the vehicle.
First responders transported the victim to an area hospital around 3:40 p.m. She died there from her injuries.
The incident is under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
It is unclear exactly where in Taft the accident happened.
