Driver fatally strikes pedestrian near St. Mary’s University

SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to KSAT, a driver fatally collided with a pedestrian at Culebra Road and NW 36th Street Saturday morning.

The driver hit the pedestrian, a man in his 40s, around 6 a.m. First responders pronounced the man dead at the scene of the accident.

Following the collision, the driver stopped to render aid to the victim.

Authorities have not yet identified the victim.
