MCALLEN, TX – A female driver died after she collided with a semi-truck at Monte Cristo Rd and Ware Rd Thursday, according to KRGV.
Norma Edith Celestino, 31, was driving a gray truck when she crashed into the semi-truck around 7:15 a.m. First responders pronounced Celestino dead a the scene of the accident and transported her passenger to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Following the collision, the semi-truck driver remained at the scene.
The incident is under investigation by the McAllen Police Department.
