Driver Flees After Intentionally Striking Group of Spring Breakers in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX – One man was seriously hurt after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in San Antonio early Tuesday morning.

According to CBS Austin, the accident occurred as a group of pedestrians were crossing North St. Marys Street at the intersection with Travis.

Witnesses say the driver of a white Cadillac ran the red light and intentionally swerved into the group. One man was struck by the driver and another was also nearly run over.

The victim was rushed to University Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver then fled the scene, no arrests have been made as of Tuesday afternoon.
