Driver flees after striking another vehicle near I-2

DONNA, TX – Police in Donna responded to a hit-and-run collision along Interstate 2 early Monday morning.

The crash was reported shortly before 8 a.m. along the interstate near the off-ramp to Farm-to-Market Road 1423.

Police say an unknown driver made an improper turn into the oncoming lane and collided with the rear driver’s side of a 2011 Chevrolet.

The driver of the Chevrolet, a 22-year-old woman was uninjured following the crash. Details regarding the identity of the driver or vehicle involved in the collision are not available at this time.
